Planning a Smarter, Signal-Free Visakhapatnam!

GVMC Commissioner Shri Ketan Garg, IAS, inspected Satyam Junction and directed officials to prepare comprehensive plans for developing major National Highway junctions into signal-free intersections. The initiative aims to reduce traffic congestion, improve travel efficiency, and ensure safer, smoother movement for commuters across the city.

Detailed feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and infrastructure improvement plans have been initiated for Satyam Junction, Akkayyapalem, Gajuwaka Srinagar Junction, and Endada Junction to create a future-ready urban transport network that enhances public convenience and supports Visakhapatnam's growing mobility needs.
